A Life Sent On (Xenoblade 3) おくられる命 Free Sheet Music for Shinobue 篠笛の無料楽譜

Konnnichiwa! So many people have asked me for this song, I can feel the excitement in the air!!

  • Difficulty Level (4 being the hardest): 4 (Very Difficult)

  • Contains many very fast yubiuchi (ornamentations)

  • Contains many kan on and 1 dai kan on

  • Contains long phrases

  • I found many different versions of this song online. After much research, I decided to create this sheet music for a solo shinobue player based on this version.

  • The tempo of this song is very free and it almost sounds like it has no time signature, so I had to force it to fit into a nice Western sheet music. Please only use this as a GUIDE.

  • It is very unnatural to put yubiuchi ornamentations into Western music notations. Take this sheet music as a guide and let your fingers do the most natural yubiuchi for you.

  • This is not a good song for beginners, but you can work on your technique first with other songs on this page and work up to this song.

  • My shinobue YouTube channel has many tutorials for you to get really good at this beautiful instrument and play this song!

  • Sheet music contains western style notation for 8 hon choshi, but if you use the Japanese fingering numbers, you can use any hon choshi.

Here is how you can play this piece with shinobue.

I also created a karaoke for a solo shinobue player.

  • The first 10 seconds is silent so you have time to pick up your shinobue and get into the playing posture.

  • The next 10 seconds is an intro (Noah’s part) - do not play this part.

  • Start playing at 20 seconds into the song using the sheet music above.

  • Use 8 hon choshi for karaoke.

Here is a video of me performing this piece as a sample using my karaoke.

It took months of work creating all the things above for this piece and I’m giving them all away for free! I am doing this because so many people have mentioned this piece. I would love to hear from you! Please feel free to comment below!
